Chinese Chicken Wings


  • 2.5 kg chicken wings
  • .25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbs grated ginger
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp brown or palm sugar
  • 2 tbs dry sherry
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1 tbs honey
  • Optional: 2 tsp Chinese Five Spice


  1. Chicken wings: either fold into triangles or cut off wing tips and cut remaining part into 2 pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients. Marinate overnight if possible.
  3. Pour wings and marinade into baking dish and cook at 190 for 35-40 minutes, turning occasionally, or until done.
