Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups bran cereal
  • 2 cups bran flakes
  • 1 cup sultanas
  • 1/2 cup sunflower kernels
  • 1/2 flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup linseeds
  • 1/2 cup flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 80g butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine all ingredients except honey and butter.
  2. Put honey and butter in a roasting pan and cook for 5 minutes in an oven until butter bubbles.
  3. Add oat mixture to the pan and cook for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until mixture browns.

NOTE: Apple and cinnamon: increase rolled oats to 5 cups, omit bran flakes and linseed. Replace sultanas with 1 cup chopped dried apple and increase cinnamon to 2 tsp.
