This is my Grandma’s recipe and it makes for a really delicious addition to desserts.


  • 2 lemons, rind and juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 50g butter
  • 2 eggs (beaten)


  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over a low heat until the mixture simmers. Continue cooking for a few more minutes, constantly stirring. Store in the fridge.
