Ingredients 2 cups self raising flour 1 tbs caster sugar 300ml cream 1/2 cup soda water Directions Preheat oven to 200 degrees and line tray with baking paper. Combine flour, sugar, 1/2 cup of cream, and soda in a large bowl. Mix to a soft dough. Kneed until smooth and then roll out and cut rounds with a cutter. Place on tray and brush with milk. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.

Ingredients 1tsp vanilla 1 cup plain flour 3 eggs, beaten 1 cup brown sugar 150g butter 200g dark cooking chocolate 125g pecans Directions Melt chocolate and butter. Add sugar and stir well. Stir in eggs, vanilla and flour. Lastly add nuts. Pour into a greased tin and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

Ingredients 450g softened butter 300g caster sugar 500g self raising flour rind of 1 orange 2 large eggs 175g roughly chopped pecans Directions Combine butter, sugar, flour rind and eggs and mix until smooth. Stir through pecans. Divide mixture into three portions and roll each portion into a log with a 5cm diameter and wrap the logs in baking paper. Twist the ends to seal and then cover in plastic wrap.
