This is another of my Grandma’s recipes – it is a tradition at her home to have a roast dinner and dessert for lunch every day so she has perfected both!
Ingredients
Cream:
- 50g butter
- 50g sugar
Add:
- 1 egg
- 50g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Have partially stewed fruit very hot in a pie dish. You can use apple, rhubarb, plums etc… it is up to you.
- Pour sponge mixture on top and bake at 180C for around 30 minutes or until sponge is cooked through. Delicious served with lemon honey, custard or cream.
