Marrickville markets

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]I haven’t figured out Instagram yet, because when I want to take a photo I don’t think to myself “Let me take out my… phone.” I enjoy taking photos with my camera, setting my eye against the view finder. Using one hand to frame and set the image and the other to fiddle with the settings before finally pushing the shutter. Digital cameras have revolutionised photography and made it more accessible but it has also in a way made photos more common and less special.

When you had a film roll of 24 photos, how many photos would have have taken of one thing? How many photos did you print? How many photos did you look at, again and again?

How many digital photos do you take? How many photos do you print? How many do you look at, time and time again? Probably too many and not enough.

I took my camera with me to the Marrickville markets and enjoyed looking at the shapes and colour through the eye of my camera and framing the perfect photo to post here.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ images=”5565,5564,5559,5560″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
