[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our mission on this holiday is to stop at as many diners as we can, and eat as much pie as possible. I found what I considered to be an authentic diner experience at the Madonna Inn. It had beautiful copper benches, leather stools and pies lined up on the counter. We received a weird look from the waitress when we ordered pie at 10am, but we are on holidays and we are making a point of doing something if we want to, not because it may or may not be the “done” thing! The cherry pie wasn’t the greatest, the apple berry pie was good and the “lattes” were filter coffee with frothed milk. Not really what we had in mind, but it was an experience and we enjoyed it.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ images=”5234″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/1″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
